How Your Money Mindset is Holding You Back From More Success with Christina Montalvo

One of my best friends Christina Montalvo of The Confidence Project podcast is back on the show today!

How often do you think to yourself, “I can’t afford that”?

We’ve all been there, but as one of my coaches James Wedmore says, “the transformation is in the transaction” and sometimes that means forking over the money to commit to making change. And if you’re a coach, sometimes it takes receiving that money to show up for your people in a BIG, impactful way.

Christina and I are digging into why the way you think about money is holding you back, both as a coach and as a client, along with:

  • Time vs. priorities. Catching ourselves when we think we’re too busy and examining if that’s really true.
  • What happens if we don’t charge enough money as coaches
  • The confidence of your work being so important that it’s worth charging for if you’re a coach, and the confidence that you’re going to do the work to get the results if you’re the client.
  • Learning how to trust yourself and take responsibility for your own success.
  • How to deal with the discomfort around money conversations.

Can’t wait for you to check this one out, and Christina and I have more joint episodes coming up over the next few months that are extra juicy. Hit subscribe wherever you listen so you don’t miss a single one!

THAT NEW NEW

There is a NEW weekly challenge in the Room to Grow Podcast Facebook group every single Monday. Something small but meaningful, and things that can give you huge rewards for minimum effort and output.

This week’s challenge is to get to bed a half hour earlier than usual. It’s so easy to binge *just one more* show on Netflix, but climbing into bed will have you happy and refreshed in the morning like never before.

No one said it was going to be easy, but the payoff is so worth it. Not only that, it will make you more aware of the habits you have around your phone, allow you to set the tone of your own day rather than having it dictated by others, and help you ease into your morning with a little less stress.

Join us in the group to check out the challenge and get some accountability, plus there are all kinds of new challenges coming up!
